An exciting opportunity has arisen within a globally recognised Company. Our client is looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join its centralised HR function based in Birmingham with responsibilities and clients across the UK.
This is a challenging generalist role that would suit capable HR professionals with prior experience within larger organisations. Whilst you will not be field based you will need to be prepared to get out in to the West Midlands region regularly.
You will need a strong character to deal with the pressures that a full generalist regional role includes and given that you are not field based it is important that you are able to build effective relationships with the business over the phone.
Duties will include:
Providing high level HR consultancy to the business on operational HR issues (including handling a varied and high volume ER caseload)
Supporting the wider HR team with any required policy development
Championing change within the business in all contact had with the operational stakeholdes.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified and be adept at dealing with individuals at all levels.
