Description

Our client is a very successful and established FTSE 250 organisation with a rich heritage and a very loyal workforce. They have identified a section of their management population that need support with a handling formal ER issues and are looking to recruit an L&D/HR Advisor to deal with that project for them.

Joining a small and busy central HR Team as an interim HR / L&D Project Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Confirming the training needs analysis
  • Designing and developing a number of training initiatives on 3 key topics
    • Running effective disciplinary/grievance investigations
    • Leading formal meetings
    • Handling appeals.
  • Delivering training across the business.

Successful outcomes to this project will include

  1. Relevant and effective training courses delivered to the management population by the end of the year
  2. A workable training portfolio that can be delivered by other members of the HR team in the future.

We are looking for

  • HR professionals who are confident in their training skills across the whole of the learning cycle (TNA, Design, Delivery and Evaluation).
  • Able to show a sound understanding of the HR / ER issues in question. Evidenced by time spent as a HR professional or relevant CIPD qualifications.

This is a challenging role that will offer you a chance to develop your Training skills and experience with a somewhat traditional but successful and evolving business. 


Salary: £negotiable. Likely to be looking at salaries ranging from £30-£40k depending on experience.

Location: This is a business with a Birmingham Head Office and it would make sense to be Midlands based. When the project reaches delivery stage you will need to spend time travelling nationally.  

Duration: It is expected that the successful candidate will start in post within the next month and be targeting a project completion by the end of 2017 / early 2018.
