Based from Birmingham City Centre this is an interim opportunity (6 months) to join a major UK organisation as a HR Business Partner. Working alongside other HR Business Partners in a busy HR team you will be taking responsibility for a varied and corporate HR/ER workload during a period of change, providing advice and support to managers and staff on absence management, performance and capability issues.

In order to be considered for this vacancy you must:

  • Have an excellent knowledge of Employment Law and Employee Relations, the practical application of it and the impact this can have within a business.
  • Experience of supporting businesses and managers through periods of change, including handling conversations around potential redundancy.
  • Have experience of dealing with a varied and sometimes complex caseload including absence management, performance and capability issues
  • Have a strong Customer Services ethos and be confident dealing with staff at all levels.

We are looking for individuals with the capability to operate effectively in a high profile role within a large and complex organisation. Strong academic qualifications and experience to date in a similar corporate environment would be highly advantageous.
