Description

Based from Birmingham City Centre this is an opportunity to join a major UK organisation as an HR Business Partner. Working alongside other HR Business Partner peers in a well-regarded, effective and very busy HR team you will be taking responsibility for a varied and corporate HR/ER workload, providing advice and support to managers and staff on absence management, performance and capability issues. You will also be involved in some HR project work and delivering workshops to managers

In order to be considered for this vacancy you must:

  • Be a capable and credible HR Business Partner used to engaging with operational stakeholders at all levels and influencing their behaviours and decision making.
  • Be confident supporting on Change Projects (i.e. previous experience of managing redundancy, redeployment and/or changes to terms and conditions).
  • Have an excellent knowledge of Employment Law and Employee Relations, the practical application of it and the impact this can have within a business.
  • Have experience of dealing with a varied and sometimes complex caseload including absence management, performance and capability issues

We are looking for individuals with the capability to operate effectively in a high profile role with a blue chip corporate body. 

The ideal candidate will have strong HR qualifications in addition to the relevant experience mentioned above.
