Description

This is a uniquely challenging role in a market leading business with c50 sites across the country. Reporting to a Regional Director you will be working across the estate supporting operational managers and helping them and their teams to continue to deliver flawless customer service and performance. This is a role that will focus on compliance, service and sales performance and will need someone with the experience to coach and mentor Site Managers working in smaller and challenging customer facing environments.

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out formal and informal site visits providing one-to-one support and guidance on all processes and procedures to any staff or manager.
  • Supporting with the centralisation of support related functions (including training, recruitment and invoicing) 
  • Overseeing a mystery shopping programme, identifying examples of best practise and performance improvement and assisting to develop an action plan in each case
  • Providing support on local issues such as client and staff complaints.
  • Co-ordinating staff training across the group
  • Co-ordinating with site personnel and facilities / maintenance teams to ensure any site improvement works are completed with the minimum of disruption.
  • Supporting central teams and site personnel with any system or process improvement projects.

  • Operational credibility. Site managers will expect to be able to tap into your existing experience of managing people, hitting site sales targets and dealing with customer issues face to face.  
  • An ability to be a "critical friend" to Site Managers to help them improve where needed. 
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and an ability to inspire others to do the same.

This is a successful marketing leading business in the midst of a major transformational programme. The estate covers the whole of the UK and will require significant travel however you will typically be responsible for your own diary and will only need to work Monday - Friday with typical working hours. There is no expectation of weekend or Bank Holiday work. In addition you will be joining a FTSE 250 organisation in a highly visible role. It is a business that is keen to develop and promote talent.

It would make most sense for the individual to be based in the middle of the country however as long as you are prepared to travel you can be based anywhere

Operating Hours: Mon – Fri / 9.00 – 5.00. (No scheduled weekends, bank holiday or split shift work.)
Salary: c£35000
