Description

This is a newly created role in a well-established and successful National Business. Working in support of one of the key senior stakeholders this varied and challenging role will see you getting involved in a range of issues around Corporate Governance, Office Management, HR and Project Management. In addition, you can expect to be upwardly managing the diary and workload of your colleague as something of an Executive Assistant.

The role allows for home working on flexible (and/or part-time) hours however it makes most sense for you to be based in the West Midlands (close to Head Office and key colleagues).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the management and delivery of regular commercial reports for both board and regulatory bodies.
  • Managing important projects. Coordinating diaries and reminding all parties of action plans and project milestones.
  • Providing 1st line support to staff at all levels on projects (see above), logging and resolving a wide range of queries that might otherwise distract senior managers. Whilst ensuring that senior management is available to deal with business critical issues.
  • Ensuring a continual flow of communication between key staff and managers to ensure the wider commercial team is engaged, focused and working well together.

This is an organisation looking for an individual with a broad range of People, Project and Office Management experience. They also need to bring in the right sort of personality to add to a small team so you must have

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a natural ability to deliver proactive customer service.
  • A can-do approach to your work where you are happy to focus on the admin as much as the exciting projects.
  • An “eyes wide open” approach to your work. Knowing what is going on and what is a priority without needing to be formally briefed.
  • To be articulate, confident and always looking to add value to the Management Team. The role needs someone who will deliver solutions to problems that management aren’t even aware of.

Salary = Up to £28000 (FTE) + pension and other benefits.
