Description

This is a uniquely challenging role in a market leading business with sites across the South East of the country. You will be leading and supporting operational managers to ensure that they and their teams can continue to deliver flawless customer service and performance. This is a role that will focus on compliance, service and sales performance and will need someone with the experience to coach and mentor Site Managers working in smaller and challenging customer facing environments.

Key accountabilities

  • Inspiring and leading site managers and their staff to ensure that they are always working smart and are focused on delivering high quality service to their customers.
  • Supporting each site manager ensuring that they are leading their teams effectively and that they are getting full support from the Head Office and Central Functions.
  • Identifying where individual sites, and the business as a whole, can make improvements to productivity, quality and customer service as well as driving change.
  • Understanding the demands of various regulatory bodies and ensuring sites meet and exceed compliance targets (Industry specific, environmental and Health & Safety)
  • Managing operational budgets


We are looking for individuals with

  • Experience at a regional level and the ability to lead and manage employees remotely. Site managers will expect to be able to tap into your existing experience of managing people, health & safety and compliance issues and dealing with customer issues face to face.
  • A passion for customer service excellence and an ability to inspire others to have the same.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding priorities and functional requirements.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity and one that could attract applicants from a range of businesses and business disciplines. Individuals with experience of working in customer facing businesses (retail, restaurant, hotels, events) where customers expect quality service would stand out.

This is a successful and well established business where there is an appetite for change but you may need to approach things with an evolutionary rather than revolutionary manner. The region covers the South East with sites across Kent, Surrey and Oxfordshire and you could be based anywhere across it. You will typically be responsible for your own diary and will only need to work Monday - Friday within normal working hours. There is no expectation of weekend or Bank Holiday work.

Operating Hours: Mon – Fri (No scheduled weekends or bank holidays)
Salary: Up to £65000 p.a.
Benefits: Car (or allowance), bonus and other benefits.
