This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and award winning Birmingham based Software Development business. They are a small, agile, innovative and successful business with a focus on customer service and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. They already have a strong reputation, a growing UK wide client base and an exciting pipeline of scheduled projects so this is a role where you will focus predominantly on existing Account Management.

Your key role will be to act as the bridge between the technical experts, off shore software development team and the external customer ensuring that the customer gets both the quality product and service that they expect.

The role will include

  • Working as the bridge between the UK based stakeholders (internal technical experts and external client) and the off shore software development team.
  • Managing multiple technical projects ensuring an even flow of communication between all parties and ensuring project time lines are shared and met.
  • Operating as the voice of the client throughout the project. Pre-empting issues and problem solving. 
  • In addition to your own accounts you will be leading and mentoring a small team of fellow Account Managers allocating workload, solving problems and overseeing performance.
  • Identifying immediate and long term opportunities to improve process and maximise the potential of the business.

At the very least you will need a passion for, and strong understanding of, Software Development (coding, UX/UI and more) and the ideal candidate will likely have specific account management experience already in the software development sector.

We are looking for passionate, customer centric individuals with high levels of emotional intelligence and the following experience.

  • Project Management. Managing multiple project stakeholders and projects. Working with formal project methodologies and project tools.
  • Customer Account Management. Having the ability to intuitively understand client needs, pre-empt issues and spot opportunities to maximise the relationship.
  • Communication. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: In the region of £40-£50k + benefits. (There may be some flexibility on salary and bonus/package for exceptional candidates. Call to discuss).
