This is a challenging and rewarding role as a Site / General Manager looking after 2 relatively small (but very busy) sites in Lancaster & Chorley. Across both sites you will have with responsibility for managing operations, events and sales and will need to be hands on operationally as you strive to organise and inspire them to deliver flawless customer service and performance.

With an office in Lancaster you are likely to spend your time evenly across both sites.

Duties will include:

  • Day to day management of the 2 teams including responsibility for ensuring onsite contractors deliver the service required.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that customer driven events run flawlessly.
  • Developing relationships with suppliers and local partners in order to develop and maximise the commercial potential of the site.
  • Constantly reviewing and improving operational processes.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity and one that could attract applicants from a range of businesses and business disciplines. We are however particularly keen to find applicants with experience in managing teams where there has been a focus on delivering high end customer service or consultancy sales. (Hotels, Restaurants, Banks, Care Homes or similar).

You will need the following experiences and behaviours

  • The ability to manage staff at all levels.
  • Experience of building relationships with local businesses, suppliers and partners and get them to support and promote your commercial ventures.
  • High quality face to face customer service and consultative sales skills.

Operating Hours: Mon – Fri / 8.30 – 5.00. (with only occasional weekend work)
Salary: c£34000
