Description

Based in Birmingham City Centre this is an opportunity to join a major UK business as HR / ER Advisor. Working in partnership with others in a small and effective HR team you will be dealing with a varied and corporate HR / ER workload, providing advice and support to senior managers and staff at all levels on absence management, performance and capability issues.

Working closely with HR Business Partners additional responsibilities will include:

  • Involvement in project work related to ER process and policy.
  • Building management capability during ER case management and with further training, education and coaching of operational staff
  • Maintaining ER data and using it to identify long term issues as well as reporting on ongoing ER casework.

In order to be considered for this vacancy you must:

  • Have an excellent knowledge of Employment Law and Employee Relations, the practical application of it and the impact this can have within a business.
  • Have experience of dealing with a varied and sometimes complex caseload including absence management, performance and capability issues
  • Be CIPD qualified.

We are looking for individuals with the capability to operate effectively in a high profile role with a well-respected corporate business.

This is a role that often sees progression through to the more generalist HR Business Partner role profile.
