As Training Manager at this successful business near Wembley you will have responsibility for managing all L&D activity throughout the business and the design and delivery of training to operational staff and managers in a fast paced environment. You will have a focus on essential procedural/compliance training, managing a team of operational trainers to ensure that training is fit for purpose and the business remains compliant.

Working in close partnership with an established HR function you will be leading on:

  • Liaising with Trainers and Operational Managers to ensure ALL compliance training is in place and working with the Training Co-ordinator ensuring ALL training records are up to date.
  • Identifying training needs and preparing gap analysis
  • Conducting a thorough review of training activities and identifying where and how they can be improved. Reacting quickly where issues are business critical.
  • Improving the look and effectiveness of essential procedural training and continuing to implement and embed on-line training initiatives
  • Ensuring that Management Development needs are met including designing and delivering training in this area.

You will need strong experience of delivering training in a fast paced commercial environment (Food Manufacturing would be ideal. Distribution, Logistics and Supply chain would be equally useful) and ideally have had experience of delivering training according to statutory or regulatory requirements.

This will be a busy ‘hands-on’ role and challenging role but one where you will have good autonomy and the chance to have a real impact on the success and development of a major UK business.

Salary: c£50000 + benefits.
