This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and entrepreneurial business as they continue their growth. As Head of HR you will be responsible for managing a small but busy HR team, delivering operational HR as well as driving the People Strategy. You will need to be a hands-on Head of HR with the responsibility for developing your HR team to deliver the highest quality in HR provision.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Delivering projects to ensure the business can continue to grow.
  • Working with the Recruitment Manager to ensure the business is attracting and retaining the best staff at all levels
  • Building an L&D framework across the business encompassing all levels
  • Addressing key HR performance issues and drivers, proactively working with relevant managers in assessing people issues, determining appropriate strategies and HR interventions to overcome them.
  • Providing robust coaching and development to all levels across the business.
  • Facilitating the growth of the business whilst maintaining the current values.

You will need a collaborative style and a desire to engage with staff at all levels using their expertise and knowledge of the business to your benefit.

The perfect candidate is expected

  • To be CIPD qualified
  • To have an extensive HR background in both large corporate as well as SME.
  • To be passionate about delivering high quality end of end HR Service.
  • To have advanced emotional intelligence.

Salary – £50-60,000 (FTE) + Excellent benefits.
