Description

Our client is a small but growing not for profit organisation looking for a H&S Consultant to make them safe, compliant and effective. Emerging from a large Local Authority they are conscious that current H&S policies and procedures may not be fit for purpose and they are looking for an individual to take responsibility for a review and replacement project in this area. This is a busy role in a very varied and challenging environment and will require existing experience and qualifications in Health & Safety

You will be responsible for ensuring that all relevant Health & Safety (H&S) requirements are fully implemented. Including

  • Statutory and regulatory legislation.
  • Corporate H&S Policy.
  • The needs of all employees in their workplace; the needs of clients and other parties who have contact with any part of the organisation.

You MUST hold at least the NEBOSH National General Certificate.

The organisation will be running events for the general public. Individuals with experience of conducting risk assessments and supporting staff organising and hosting those sorts of events would be very relevant.

This is a project expected to last 2-3 months and we are looking for a prompt start. 

Salary: c£28000 (will consider a day rate option via Ltd Company).
