This is a uniquely challenging role with responsibility for managing operations, events and sales in a small and constantly busy customer facing organisation near Wells. You will have line management responsibility for a diverse workforce of 3 as well as some sub-contracting teams and will be looking to organise and inspire them to deliver flawless customer service and performance.

Duties will include:

  • Day to day management of all site personnel including responsibility for ensuring onsite contractors deliver the service required.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that customer driven events run flawlessly.
  • Developing relationships with suppliers and local partners in order to develop and maximise the commercial potential of the site.
  • Constantly reviewing and improving operational processes.

  • The ability to manage staff at all levels getting them to buy in to your passion for delivering high quality customer service and go the extra mile for your clients.
  • Experience of building relationships with local businesses, suppliers and partners and get them to support and promote your commercial ventures.
  • High quality face to face customer service and consultative sales skills.

In the short term this is a site and team needing some stability and guidance. In the long term you will be joining a FTSE 250 organisation in a highly visible role. It is a business that is keen to develop and promote talent.

Operating Hours: Mon – Fri / 9.00 – 5.00. (No scheduled weekends, bank holiday or split shift work.)
Salary: c£32,000
Benefits: Includes 25% bonus potential
