Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a major UK business as a strategically minded HR Business Partner. You will be asked to work in partnership with a specific business group supporting their commercial staff at all levels with a variety of Change Management, Succession Planning and Organisational Design challenges.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Ensuring that your business stream is getting the operational HR support that they need from the central services team and promoting the value of HR as a true Business Partner.
  • Working to develop business strategies to deal with issues around Employee Engagement, Performance Management and Succession Planning.
  • Helping create a high performance culture and driving continuous improvement.
  • Working in partnership with busy and underpressure operational managers coaching & advising them to improve capabilities across their teams.

As the senior HR professional for your business area you will be required to liaise closely with managers in order to understand their changing needs and support them fully from an HR perspective. You will need to be visible across a number of West Midlands sites.   

The successful candidate will have

  • A varied HR background with proven success in a fast paced engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working as part of a global business and balancing the demands of the global business against the needs of the local strategies (and legislation)
  • The ability to support a business during a period of change and transformation.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to find effective solutions to solve commercial challenges.

Salary: £50-£60k + bonus and benefits.
