This is challenging in-house Recruitment role joining a busy resourcing team in a professional organisation. You will be working in partnership with a specific Business Unit with a particular focus on dealing with their day to day recruitment projects which will also require you to work to improve the hiring capabilities of key stakeholders. This is a role for a self-starter with strong in-house experience and the ability to work more complex / hard to fill roles.

This is a role requiring a prompt start and likely to last 12 months.

Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the end to end candidate journey. This will include
    • Agreeing individual job specs and recruitment tactics with the hiring managers
    • Placing adverts and managing all candidate enquiries promptly and professionally.
    • Direct sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter and various other online tools.
    • Shortlisting applications, coordinating interviews and assessments as well as conducting first stage interviews and providing feedback.
  • Providing a consultative service to hiring managers throughout the process ensuring you can deliver an exceptional recruitment experience to both candidate and hiring manager.
  • Building relationships within the internal business to enable the identification of future needs and ways to improve recruitment processes.

To be a success in this role you will:

  • Have first class recruitment skills and worked in an in-house role within a blue chip corporate environment.
  • Be able to manage a busy workload ensuring hiring managers are kept informed and engaged throughout their recruitment campaigns.
  • Be able to work autonomously and be resilient.

This is a great role for an experienced recruiter who has the ability to think creatively and who enjoys the challenge of finding the right people to develop and improve an already strong organisation. You would be joining the organisation at a time where you will be able to make a big impact by both filling key roles and helping to develop a more modern Recruitment function.

This is a 12 month interim contract requiring a prompt (but not immediate) start. You will be joining a team and manager keen to prove to the business that this should be a permanent addition to the team.

Salary: Up to £38k + benefits. Based in Birmingham you will need to be in the office regularly with plenty of time spent working from home too.
