HR and Resourcing Manager - Cheltenham. £40-42,000 + Benefits

This is a great opportunity to join an innovative and progressive organisation as they seek to modernise their HR practices.  This is a newly created role reporting in to the Head of HR, leading on all recruitment activity within the organisation as well as providing generalist HR support.   

Key responsibilities will include

  • Managing a small HR Admin team with involvement in a wide range of HR projects.
  • Acting as the first point of contact to managers within the business with regard to performance management issues. 
  • Supporting the Head of HR with any necessary restructuring, redundancy and consultation processes. 
  • Working with key stakeholders in the business to identify future resource requirements and developing proactive workforce plan
  • Developing and implementing a modern recruitment strategy in order to attract and recruit the best candidates, this will include reviewing their current advertising strategy, ensuring they are using the most effective and relevant routes to market including social media
  • Managing the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring the best possible candidate journey, through to on-boarding and inducting new starters.
  • Developing talent pathways, succession planning and a retention strategy.
  • Reviewing recruitment collateral including job descriptions, adverts, salary benchmarking and more

To be a success in this role you will have a generalist HR background with a passion for recruitment and resourcing.  You will have excellent communication skills along with CIPD Level 5 or above. 

Salary - £40-42,000 + excellent pension, benefits and free parking. Ideally looking for someone full-time, however they may consider 4 days a week for the right person.

Location - Cheltenham but with the opportunity to work from home 1 day a week.
