Description

This will be a busy and rewarding role working as a senior member of a HR Business Partner team looking to become more strategically minded. As Senior HR Business Partner you will be asked to set the standards when it comes to delivering HR support to your client group and be a role model for the rest of the HR Business Partner team. 

Birmingham based 1-2 days a week you can expect flexible hours and a hybrid working pattern.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Championing the idea of HR as a Business Partner to the operational stakeholders and developing best practice HR BP processes.
  • Mentoring, coaching and developing the Business Partner team and ensuring that there is a consistent HR solution and service delivered to all parts of the organisation.
  • Supporting senior managers in your own client group on complex case management issues and change management initiatives.
  • Managing the day to day relationship with the recognised Trade Unions around all matters relating to change management, case management and people related matters.
  • Helping create a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have

  • CIPD level 7 qualifications and a solid background in dealing with day to day HR/ER issues in a unionised environment.
  • Experience of influencing and challenging stakeholders across a busy organisation. 
  • A varied HR background with proven success in a larger HR team and ideally within a fast paced multi-site environment

Salary:c£50,000 + benefits.
