Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking and changing West Midlands organisation as a strategically minded HR Business Partner. You will be asked to work in partnership with a specific business group supporting their staff at all levels and handling a wide range of HR issues in a busy and changing environment.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Selling and embedding the idea of HR as a Business Partner to the operational stakeholders
  • Working to develop local strategies to deal with issues around Employee Engagement, Performance Management and Talent Acquisition.
  • Helping create a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Working in partnership with busy operational managers. Supporting them with a wide range of ER issues and processes. Coaching & advising them to improve capabilities across their teams.

As part of a small HR Business Partner team you will play a key role in helping to develop and mentor your peers. The team is a good one but recruiting from outside of the organisation means that they can bring some fresh thinking and they are looking for someone who "knows what good looks like" and who can help them to develop and embed true Business Partner values and processes.

You will need to be based around Birmingham and must be prepared to travel as required across the West Midlands. There is plenty of scope to be working from home too.

The successful candidate will have

  • A solid background as a HR Business Partner with experience of being aligned to senior stakeholders and working strategically with them.
  • Experience of influencing and challenging stakeholders across a busy organisation.
  • A varied generalist HR background.

Salary: £46,000 - £52,000 + benefits.
