Description

This is an exciting and challenging project orientated HR Business Partner role working with a well known West Midlands organisation. Over the next 12 months you will work in close partnership with the Managing Director, and alongside the operational HR team, to support on a number of key commercial HR projects.

Key project responsibilities will include

  • Advising the organisation on their Industrial Relations strategy in advance of complex union pay negotiations and changes to the operational model.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of a new Performance Management scheme.
  • Improving the recruitment process including the roll out a new online job application portal.
  • Supporting the operational HR team with a review all HR policies and procedures and helping to drive a focus on continuous improvement.

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with a varied operational and project background. With the pay negotiations and restructure being key it is essential that you have strong IR / TU experience and plenty of credibility to consult and advise in this area.

As part of a small HR function you can expect to have a part to play in developing and mentoring the team and it is essential that you enjoy having a hands on problem solving approach as well as advising and consulting.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

This is a 12 month contract requiring a prompt start. West Midlands based you will be able to work regularly from home.
